Ray Dalio is arguably one of the greatest investors of all time and is the founder of Bridgewater associates, one of the most successful Hedge Funds to ever exist. In his most recent interview, Ray Dalio gave his updated view and outlook on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency as a whole.
Whilst some individuals have turned to cryptocurrinces as a store of value and insurance policy during uncertain economic times, Daily believes that Bitcoin is not correlated to anything and does not move in any reliable or predictable way - a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
Dalio does acknowledge that although just one third the market cap of a company such as Microsoft - it generates huge global attention and news which may suggest it’s price has much further to run.
Make sure to stick around to the end of the video where Dalio breaks down why he holds onto a portion of Bitcoin himself, but he still prefers gold due to it’s historical role as a store of value and widespread use as a reserve asset by central banks around the world.
